Materials needed: Writing surface and writing materials

Members per group: 2+
Instructions:
This activity is a spelling race. One student from each group comes up to the board. The teacher calls out a word. The students must correctly spell the word. The first student who writes the word correctly wins a point for their team.
To continue there are two options, keep the winning student at the board until another student beats him or change all players.
This activity can be used for any level even beginner. For the beginner level, use really simple words that you have previously taught.
Spelling counts in this activity, the words have to be written correctly.
